I have to admit, ever since Briana socked the shit out of her ex-boyfriend, rapper Charles Hamilton and it got posted on the Internet, I've secretly admired her. So naturally I started following
If you enlarge this section from Briana's blog and read it, you'll find her asking her father if he still reads her blog and to please call her because she has some things she still hasn't forgiven him for and need to work out, imploring him not to ignore as he's done her "whole effin' life."
Which brings me to this: Why were Mary J. Blige and Kendu Issacs on the radio in NY after Briana made the blogs for socking Charles, laughing and joking, talking about how they were ashamed of her behavior, like they were just this big happy family going through a rough patch, as opposed to two hands off parents pretending to give a fuck?

No reference to Mary because she is the 'step-mom' and evidently Briana was over 16 when Mary and Kendu married, but if Briana and Kendu AREN'T close and he hasn't truly been around, maybe he's ashamed of her behavior because he wasn't there to guide her when she needed him.

Foul! Why would he/they openly discuss her personal business on a radio show, and won't reach out and touch her in person? Poor (celebrity) parenting.
They should have told the radio jock(s): "with all due respect our family matters are something we don't discuss publicly", or words to that effect. If they had any class they would have left it at that. Even though video and follow up comments of the "sucker punch" were put on the Internet, they still did not have to validate that foolishness with a response.

I do find it annoying that men or women who aren't in their childrens life expect to get some kind of respect from their children. I got into it with my bro yesterday about fathers day. He got mad because no one wished him happy fathers day even though hes never been in any of his kids lives. He spends his days dogging out their mothers because of child support. That being said...there is always two sides to every story. I've seen teens dog their parents who are raising them out on the net because they don't get what they want.
